Marcel is a professional Civil Engineer and Business Person. He is the Founder and Managing Director of two young companies: SHALEM CONTRACTORS Ltd founded and legally incorporated in 2013 with a mission to perform for our customers the highest level of quality construction services at fair and market competitive prices with God-fearing attitudes. It deals with construction works both design and implementation, the second is SHALEM DESIGNS Ltd founded in 2017 and focuses on Branding and Promotional Materials. He serves also as a Board Member of Dynamis Group Ltd a consultancy firm operating in Rwanda and led by youth. Before focusing solely on business, Marcel worked as a Dean of Studies at College Mont/Sion a technical School in Nyanza where he was in charge of academics and ensuring the quality of education by partnering with teachers, head-teachers, and students.

He also worked as a science teacher and a lab technician at Gitwe Adventist College.
